Oh, hi there!

I'm Joana, born and raised in Porto, a lover of all things cooking and baking related, travel enthusiast and a Tourism Management graduate.

Office working style it's not my thing - hosting, teaching, learning, meeting new people everyday, telling stories and hearing fabulous adventures from fellow travelers are my passions.

I come from a traditional (and by traditional, of course I mean a very loud) Portuguese family with a deep love for homemade dishes.

Let me share all of these things with you!

Can't wait to meet you!

Pastel de Nata

Join me to learn all about these famous Pastéis! This is a recipe that belongs to my grandmothers and we will make everything from scratch. Eating them straight out of the oven will be the best part!

Afraid to try on your own our heart-attack sandiwch in a plate? Join me to learn how to make one, let's make together my secret recipe of Francesinha!

Codfish & Octopus

This is the perfect way to eat while learning more about our everyday food in Portugal - Together we will make 3 main dishes and will taste them together with wine and sangria!

Traditional Sweets

Alredy know everything about Pastel de Nata? This is the perfect way to try and learn more about other Portuguese Sweets - we will be making 3 sweets that are lesser-known for travellers but loved by portuguese!

Christmas Sweets

Visiting Porto during Christmas time? Join me for a couple of fun hours making 3 Holiday traditional sweets from Portugal - Briging your own Ugly X-mas sweater is allowed!

Portuguese Croissants

I'm sure you know they are different from french croissants - together we will make 3 different ones - simple, filled with egg cream (this is Portugal afterall!) and filled with chocolate!

The best souvenir you can take home is a family-owned recipe

Make it your own tradition and remeber your trip to Porto forever!
